Here's what the humans have to say about me:
8-month-old Rhett was found dumped with Scarlett 2 months ago and they were in horrific condition and urgently needing medical care to save their life.
Today, they are ready to each find their own homes to call their own, and are almost nearing the end of their healing journey.
Rhett had Demodex Mange (an itchy skin infection that is caused by mites) but is healing up so beautifully from it and his coat is almost back to being spectacular.
Rhett has gained almost 10 pounds since being rescued and is sitting at about 35 pounds now.
Rhett is a friendly, sweet, kind dog. He doesn't walk very well on a leash and he does require some basic training, as all he's had in his early life is being dumped at the side of a road and in veterinary clinics and boarding facilities.
Rhett and Scarlett will blossom into spectacular dogs with the right loving home to guide them through this final journey called "having a family".
He has never had a home to call his own. Will you offer him one today?
