Well hello world! Are you ready for one sweet, loving, romping bulldog?! If you are, I am the gal for you! My name is Bubbles because I have a bubbling personality despite my background. You see, the Chicago Police found me in a dumpster! Really, who would do that to this beautiful face?! Luckily for me the great people at CEBR found me a great foster home and now I’m learning how to live the life of a loved bulldog.
Let me tell you something about myself. I think I’m somewhere between 3-5 years old, weigh a healthy 48 pounds, and have never enjoyed the great outdoors. In fact, this thing called grass is pretty cool, and now wow, there’s this fantastic thing called snow that I like to eat and push around with my nose! I just love to go outside and romp around, checking out the grass, leaves, sticks, and snow, and listen to and watch all these fantastic things around me. Now I’m still learning that outside is where I’m supposed to do my business, so you will have to be a little patient with me.
My foster parents have this really cool bully room that I live in, complete with a comfy chair to sleep in, blankets to lie on, and toys to play with. I sleep all night without any problems. I love to get attention, especially belly rubs, and will reward you with little kisses. I’m not sure about other dogs or cats yet, so we will have to see how that goes as I get more comfortable.
It might surprise you that I’m pretty healthy despite where they found me! I do have cherry eyes, but they’re going to fix that along with my spay. And right now I’m taking medicine for my skin, but I don’t think I’ll have to take it forever. I have a little mild arthritis in my back hips, but you would never know it as I love to run, jump, and tap dance (that’s what my foster parents call my dance on the bully room floor). I sure hope there’s someone out there who will love me because I have lots of love to give!
