Here's what the humans have to say about me:
She holds herself with such reserve…
Selena is a gentle and sweet cat whose life experiences have made her a little shy of people. That is until you pet her and then she melts as she rolls and pushes into your hand for more pets. Purring and elevator butt follow as she thoroughly enjoys interacting with you.
Being a youngster, Selena still has some kitten characteristics including liking to play. She also enjoys cat treats but will wait patiently while the other cats take their turn.
She is an intelligent cat who watches all that is going on around her. She takes measure of the people that come into her cat community room and observes their behavior and moves, all the while hoping that they come and pet her.
This young girl is just waiting for the right person to take her home and give her the TLC that will help her blossom into a wonderful feline companion. She may seem reserved on the outside, but on the inside she is a bundle of pure love. Are you looking for a cat that will become a devoted companion? If you are, Selena may be the purrfect match for you!
You can meet Selena at the Coronado Animal Care Facility. The facility is open daily between 9:00 am and 11:30 am and 12:30 pm and 4:00 pm (except major holidays). It is located at 1395 First Street at the south end of the Ferry Landing complex.
If you are interested in adopting Selena, you must first come in and meet her. If it seems like a good match, the next step is to complete a cat adoption application. Cat adoption applications are available at the facility or cat adoption applications may be completed online. A PAWS of Coronado Cat Adoption Counselor will contact you within 24-48 hours to discuss your application.
You can read about the adoption process on the Adoption Information page.
