Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Paris came to us emaciated from a local dog pound. She needs to gain at least 15 lbs. She was oozing green mucus from her vulva and was licking herself so much she had ulcerated her lips. Tests and surgery confirmed she had pyometra, an infection of her uterus. This can be life threatening, causing sepsis and shock if not treated. Despite all of this she just wants a soft blanket to lay down on. As soon as she saw a bed being made for her she wanted in it and quickly curled up to rest. She had emergency surgery to remove her infected uterus. She is now living with a dog trainer learning all about the good life. She’s definitely house trained. Prefers not to be crated and has some mild separation anxiety (cries and whines some when left alone). But she’s already improved with crate and will go in on her own now. What she mostly wants to do is jump on the couch and nap though :) She’s super affectionate and loves being next to us. So far she seems very good around dogs but doesn’t want to interact. We think she is also hard of hearing. Give Paris a chance. You won't be dissapointed. She is really starting to come out of her shell but it will take patience and time.
