Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hey there! I'm Pickles, the 62lb house cat disguised as a floof dog. I'm a mixed breed of aloof, velcro dog and fur. I know, it sounds weird but like a cat! I'm even keel and only get get a little excited sometimes, mostly I just check things out and let them come to me. My favorite thing is being pet. If I can't be pet I'll lay across your feet. I don't like to hold my own body up for too long so I'll lean into you until I eventually slide onto the floor. It's very graceful. Humans giggle, I don't know why. I enjoy about 15 minutes of activity at a time. I for sure do not want to go on hikes or adventures with you. I mean, I'll go if you want, but first chance I get I'll lay on the ground. I do enjoy the car ride and going somewhere part. I've been socialized at the dog park and day care so I like dogs, but I like calm, stable dogs. Those crazy hyper dogs stress me out so I can't live with that kind. I also don't care for the ones that bark at me to play. I like to play the same way I like to do everything else.... laying on the ground. Are you seeing my theme? I like companionship over all and would do best in a home with a dog I can connect with that doesn't expect me to play all the time. I'm having separation anxiety right now which is why I'm looking for a new environment. I think I need someone that can be around a lot but also give me a schedule and I'm hoping a new calm dog sibling will help me be less nervous while my humans are gone. Due to my separation anxiety my adopters must own their home with a secure fenced backyard to keep me safe. My adoption fee is $150.
