Hi, my name is Coco, and I am currently patiently waiting with my sister and foster mom until I can be united with my forever family. At 2 years old, I am an extremely sweet and loyal little dog. My short hair is dark tan/brown, and I hardly shed at all. My soft brown eyes will melt your heart. I weigh approximately 12 pounds, and I am the perfect size to fit snugly in your lap for as long as you will let me lay there. I love regular massages, and will lick your face to ask for affection. I was originally surrendered with my sister after being kept outside or in a crate during the first year of my life. I would love if we could be adopted together, but I understand if you can only take one of us.
At night, I prefer to cuddle by your side under the covers, and I promise to wait until the morning to be let outside. However, if you do decide that you would rather leave me in a crate or in another room, I will wait patiently until you come to release me. When you do come to get me though, I will hardly be able to contain my excitement! I usually prance around because I am so happy!! I love going outside, and I look forward to daily walks where I can sniff everything and bask in the sunlight. Furthermore, I really enjoy running around the yard and playing with my sister.
I have very good manners, and I never have accidents inside or bark excessively. I have less energy than my sister, but I still really enjoying playing although I am much more submissive. I really prefer cuddling in your lap and having a nice nap. I get along very well with other dogs and allow them to have their way.
My sincere wish is to find a family who will love me as much as I will love them.. I do not adjust to new people as quickly as my sister, but if you are patient with me, I will quickly become your best friend. I am loyal to a fault and will follow you everywhere! My sweet, quiet temperament compliments my sister’s high energy and playfulness.
I will be so grateful when I can finally settle in one place for the rest of my life with someone who will truly love me as their own (and hopefully my sister too!). My current temporary home is in Louisville, KY, but my foster mom has promised me that she will transport me to my new forever home.
