Gracie (DMH) and Aspen (DSH) are kittens, so they love to play. They wrestle with each other and have a blast playing with their toys, especially wand toys and their tunnel. They use their scratchers and get along really well with the resident 6 year old adult cat. Aspen is a little more shy than Gracie. Gracie will snuggle up under her foster mom’s chin, and Aspen will crawl behind her or on top of her and purr away. Gracie will talk when she wants to be petted. She'll crawl up on her foster mom's chest and meow in her face. :) They are both very sweet and loving.
Gracie and Aspen were born outside, but luckily were taken in by their foster mom while they were still kittens, so they are like regular kittens with her. They are more apprehensive with people they don’t know, but they are young and will be able to bond to a new person. When they go into a new home, it will take time for these little cuties to adjust to a whole new life – new environment, new people, new sounds and smells, etc. It will take a special person who is able to understand their fear and to have the patience and understanding to earn the girls’ trust and love. They would probably do best in a home without too much commotion.
These little cuties are looking for a forever home with a patient and understanding person who allow them as much time as they need to get to know and bond with that person. In return, they will provide you with kitten acrobatics and antics to make you smile and laugh, kitten cuddles, and the rewarding feeling that you earned their trust and love, with patience and understanding.
Gracie and Aspen have been spayed, vaccinated, have tested negative for Feline Leukemia, and are about 4 ½ months old. Due to their strong bond, and so they have a companion to play with and cuddle with, these sweet sisters must be adopted as a pair. There is a reduced adoption free for pair adoptions.
