Wickett has had a hard 1st year of life. Found as a stray and taken to the shelter with a broken leg. X-rays showed not only a horrible break at his hip but his knee was unfixable so upon our vet's recommendation we had his leg amputated. This boy never missed a beat! It was like he was free of the pain and started loving life. He is totally healthy now and is a member of the Tripawd community.

Wickett seems to do great with another dog however he becomes protective if another dog enters the circle. He is also protective of his human if another dog gets to close. We would like to see him have a buddy but with precaution. Wickett loves cats. He would make a great companion for a senior couple as he loves to cuddle and be with a human most of the time.
