Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Bandit is a 2 year old, 15 lb. ShihTzu/Terrier whose owners had to move to a home that doesn't allow dogs. From puppyhood in his former home Bandit didn’t have a backyard to play in nor an opportunity to socialize with other dogs. He has come a long way during the past 2 months in his Dusty Paws Rescue foster home.
Bandit is house trained using a doggie door, loves to go exploring outside in the yard, and gets a kick out of his soft toys, chasing squirrels and just being a dog. Of medium energy level, he enjoys car rides and going on walks, walking well on a harness. His foster mom notes that it may take Bandit a while to become acclimated to a new situation, but once he feels at ease he is a happy member of the family.
Bandit is a sweet dog who loves affection and always wants to follow you around. Although not a lap dog he will lie next to you on the couch or by your feet on the floor. At night he loves sleeping near you in his bed with his favorite blanket. Bandit is a friendly dog who is good with people once he has a chance to warm up to them. He will do best with gentle children over eight who would not pull or tug at him. He gets along with most dogs, but does tend to play dominant male at times. We think he would likely chase cats.
Bandit is recently neutered and is up to date on his vaccinations.
