My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Misty and I am an 11 year old Maltese girl that lost her home when my owner became too feeble to take care of my sister and I.
My sister is with SRC as well....her name is Sugar and she is a 8 year old black Schnauzer.

I was very lucky to find an immediate opening in a foster home, just as my sister did My foster mom took me in for a physical and then for a spa day.
I was not too crazy about the pink bow they put on my head; but other than that....I was a perfect girl!

At my foster home in Cincinnati, I have five other doggie friends to play with. Even though I am 11, don't think I lay around all day. My best friend here is three years and we run and play with toys all day long.

I am a perfect lady in the house, know basic commands and my name. I have never had a fenced yard before and would love a home with one. I know the doggie doors, love car trips and my favorite place at night is wherever my foster Mom is.

On sunny days, my foster mom takes me along with one of her dogs on a walk. I feel like a little queen walking down the sidewalk with her.
