Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Pure of heart with a brave soul, precious Snoop is a hilarious and bouncy little dude! You wouldn't believe the enthusiasm this young dog has when he's super happy! He'll hop, skip and trot in circles looking up at you with his huge Snoop SMILE and high, non stop tail wag! What a long way Mr. Snoop has come and we are so proud of him! when he first came off the transport van a few months ago he was so scared... tucked all the way in the back of his crate hiding behind his sister Paisley. You could see that just looking out at the big open space with unfamiliar faces looking back at him was overwhelming, let alone walking out there!
It didn't take long for Snoop to learn that walking on the leash is awesome and it leads to super fun experiences.. not all of these new places have to be scary... He is truly learning how to be happy out there in the big world and his huge smile radiates new found confidence!
Still some new scenarios, like walking on the leash in a new area or meeting a new person can still be a cause for concern for Snoop so we continue to... little by little... broaden his horizons. Snoop just adores other dogs and he feels much more confident around them. He is his happiest when out in the yard with his best friend Finney! We are looking for a home for Snoop that has another dog or for him to be adopted with one of his buddies!
Snoop has an adorable appearance that draws people in. However, it is important that whoever he goes home with will have to continue to support him in his fearful/panic moments. Snoop is incredibly connected, I am surprised at just how much eye contact he makes, even in the beginning when he was super scared! He is inquisitive and he so badly wants to trust and break free of his learned fears that continue to linger. Snoop reminds of that loyal friend who will always be there for you.. I imagine whoever he makes a bond with, it will never be broken. He’s a deep, gentle soul who has only love to give!
