Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
f you're looking for a little southern charm to keep you company then Earnhart is on the way! If interested in adopting Earnhart please fill out an application here http://www.bestfriendsforlifeanimalrescue.com/ If you ever ate a peach From down in Georgia Or just like me Your a die-hard Earnhardt fan An if you ever had a sip Of ol' Jack Daniels Or raised your glass To sweet home Alabama You can Thank Dixie for that. If you ever got a whiff of orange blossoms in the wind When they start to blooming in the spring An if you like your catfish fried With butter grits there on the side And swear that boy from Memphis He's still the king You can thank Dixie You can Thank Dixie for that - from 'You Can Thank Dixie' by Jake Owens Yep we bet you too will be a die hard Earnhart fan the minute you meet this adorable pooch! Earnhart is a one year old Boxer mix weighing 45 lbs. He's lovable, goofy, and very playful. This guy is not for those who lead a couch potato life. He loves exercise, play, and adventure so an active family would be his ideal match. Earnhardt was rescued from a southern shelter and placed in a loving foster home where he has been learning how to be a great family friend and member. He is doing very well with both his crate and house training and with a little more training he'll be top notch. He gets along great with everyone he meets, there isn't a mean bone in his whole doggy body. Earnhart loves to wrestle around with his buddies and he'd play chase all day if you'd let him. While he is sweet and affectionate, he thinks cats are fun to harass so we're pretty sure most cats would prefer not to have him as a house mate. He loves kids and he will have a blast with older ones, his playfulness may be a bit too much for little ones though. Earnhart is great on leash and yes he loves going for walks and runs. With training he would probably make a good running partner. This handsome fellow is already neutered, up to date on all vaccinations, current on preventatives, and micro chipped. He's really looking forward to being a forever part of an awesome family. He may have been born a southern boy but he's more than happy to make a new life up north. If an active, fun loving, adventurous goofball is your kind of best friend then you will indeed become a die hard Earnhart fan. As for getting this southern boy up north and into your life...you're welcome!
