Here's what the humans have to say about me:
TSDRs Claudia NKA Arabella had a great follow-up visit and surgeon happy with her progress! We’re increasing her PT a bit tho. And then we were given very unexpected news - she’s pregnant and has about 8 puppies due in about 3 weeks!!! She must’ve been about 7-10 days old when she initially went in for x-rays as they don’t show up til at least 45 days!! Holy freaking cow!!! We are still in shock!! If anyone is wanting to foster her and her upcoming puppies please email us (contactus@texassleddogrescue.org) as her current foster has never dealt with this before, works full time and dogsits as well. Not sure that congrats is the right word at this moment tho. Ha!!
If you are interested in pursuing an adoption and you live in Texas , please complete the application (links provided below). The process includes a vet check, calling references and doing a home visit.

or

Please note the following:
We rarely do out of state adoptions. (Exceptions can be discussed but will be based on previous big dog experience and will require same adoption process.)
Children in the home or that visit often must be at least 6 years of age. (Exceptions can be discussed but will be based on previous big dog experience.)
Adoption donation is due at the time of adoption. Puppies under 1 year are $300. Dogs 1 year to 7 years are $200 and dogs over 7 years are $150. As this is a donation, it will be non-returnable if dog is returned to rescue.
Dogs are not placed on a "first come, first serve" basis but rather the best home for the dog.
All dogs placed by TSDR will be:
spayed/neutered
vaccinated for distemper/parvo, rabies, and bordetella
heartworm tested and treated if needed
microchipped
other vetting as deemed needed
New owners will receive copies of all available vet information and must agree to keep them current on all of the above.
