Brady is a super friendly boy who is all about fun, play, and affection. He is a happy, energetic, spirited boy, usually with his tail wagging, who loves to be with people and share his zest for life. Brady adores every minute of attention and playtime, loves to play fetch and be silly with toys. He enjoys back rubs, belly rubs, and hugs, and walks nicely on a leash.

It’s truly a shame that Brady has been at the rescue for 6 years and is now about

10 years old (and 55-60 pounds). However, despite his age, Brady is in good condition and has the spunk and energy of a young dog. He would love a new parent who will hang out with him a lot and engage in lots of playtime. Brady must be the only pet in his new home as he is aggressive towards other dogs. Please watch the video at the end of the photos to see how much fun and how entertaining Brady is. Submit Application

The first step in adopting from Shih Tzu Rescue is to fill out an application on our website at shihtzurescue.org

2.
Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

Once your application has been approved we will schedule an appointment for you to visit our shelter and dogs and take home with you.

Additional adoption info

We have an adoption contract that must be completed and approved. We require vet and personal references as well home checks. Our normal response time is approximately 7 to 10 working days. Our Adoption Committee works very hard to place our dogs in environments where they will be most likely to succeed. Please understand that we have more applications than we do dogs and that if you do not hear from us within that timeframe, we currently do not have a dog who we feel would match your needs.

Our fee includes neuter or spay, all shots, and snap test for heartworm/erlichia/lyme. We take care of whatever their medical needs might be before they are adopted. WE ADOPT TO ALL OF FLORIDA AS WELL AS OTHER STATES. WE DO NOT SHIP
