You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Kingston, known as “The King” in his foster home. Kingston is about a two year old Yorkshire terrier / Cairn terrier mix. He lives with and is good and playful with his two foster brothers. He has been in foster since March 14, 2014 and so far considered house trained, no accidents so far. Kingston is a happy, affectionate playful dog who does well with other dogs, likes to take walks and walks well on a leash, he is happy to greet other dogs and humans of all sizes and ages. At just around 7 pounds. He is a tiny dog that would not do well in a home with small children under the age of ten that might not understand how fragile he is. He would also not do well in a home with senior humans as he likes to follow close to your feet and sits at your feet where he could easily be stepped on and hurt. While it is always better to have a fenced yard when you adopt a dog, Kingston likes to take walks and is willing to do his business on the walk. Yorkies have tiny bladders and need to go outside often, so if you have no yard you will need to go outside several times every day. Kingston does bark sometimes to sounds and at new people entering his environment so he may not a good choice for an apartment. The King is up-to-date with his vaccinations, neutered, and micro chipped. If you want to adopt The King, and email Hal Hal@HomeAtLastSanctuary.org
