My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sweet Adeline was starved and almost dead from fleas and ticks when she was rescued. After a month of antibiotics, good food and a blood transfusion this girl is as good as new!!! She is house trained, loves to snuggle on the couch and play with her foster siblings and rescue humans. As all the roadside dogs, history is unknown but she seems to be pretty good on a leash and does ok in a crate. She doesn't like to stay in one for long periods. She has been left in the house during the work day with no issues of chewing or being naughty. She is still young and so eager to learn and be a part of a family. She has done well with all sizes of dogs and has liked 99% of them. I suggest larger playmates verses little dogs. She is possessive over her food so she needs to be separated at meal times which is easy. NO CATS and no apartments.

Please note that we are a TX based rescue, so all of our dogs are currently located in TX. We work with Rescue Road Trips to transport our dogs to your area upon approval of adoption application. The reason we do this is because TX is a high-kill state due to it being over populated with unwanted, but wonderful dogs, and finding homes in other states helps us to save more lives. Our adoption fee for the NE is $355 ($170 adoption and $185 transportation). All dogs will arrive spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and with their health certificate required for transportation.

Please also note that we are not able to adopt to MA due to the states quarantine requirements for out of state dogs. We apologize for this.
