My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Astro!  He's going to be 9 years old in January but you would never know his age unless you read it on paper!  He has found himself in need of a new home because his family is moving and not taking him with them - he needs a new home by Nov 30th.
 
We had a volunteer meet him and she said he is gorgeous, totally lovely. 
 
Astro is a high energy dog that has lived on 9 acres outside all the time, since 6 months old.  He doesn't stop exploring his yard - as all GSPs would with that spread!   He lives in a heated kenneled area with a run that is off the detached garages. 
 
He has some basic obedience and she said with some more training he would be well behaved and learn quickly.  He jumped up a few times and she told him 'off' and he stopped so we think he would be a great student!  
 
When he went up to her he was a total goof ball and needed cuddles - he's very sweet.  
 
When she arrived at the property, he greeted her and there was no barking, he was wagging his tail and she spent some time with him before ringing the door bell.......and fell in love. 
 
She believes that he would settle well in a house in no time at all.  
 
He is trained on electric fence  and would do well with a family that has experience with a GSP and training. 
 
He will be fully vetted and ready for his forever home as soon as you are ready for him!
