My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Emil and Leela are a 5 month-old brother /sister pair rescued in Brooklyn. Emil was rescued first, the poor little guy was sick with a respiratory infection and practically slumped over when we found him. His left eye has some corneal scarring, but he is not blind. His sister Leela was found three weeks later at the the same location, she had a terrible eye infection and as a result, she lost her right eye. Her impairment has not slowed her down one bit --she loves to run, and play hide and seek with her brother. She also has a couple of extra toes, she is polydaktyl on her front paws. Despite their rough beginnings, Emil and Leea have nothing but love and the contented sounds of purring to share. They are easy-going and curious, bonded to each other. These guys are looking for a loving home as a pair where they can play, and snuggle, and chirp (Leela is a chirper!) They have lived peacefully in a home with smaller sized dogs that love cats, they are healthy and well-adjusted. Spayed & neutered, up to date with vaccinations, negative for FIV/FeLV and microchipped.
