My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

The adoption fee for Lady and Soca is $350 (for both).
Lady is a black 12 year old female poodle and weighs about 19 lbs. She is up to date on vaccines and has recently had a dental. She is a wonderful sweet girl, she is timid to new people and a little jittery about noises, if something gets dropped she will scatter. She is very loving once she trusts you, and so very loving with her brother Soca.
They are litter mates, and are certainly bonded to each other. She sleeps in her crate at night with Soca or while you are out doing errands. They both need someone who is home during the day so they can be let out every few hours. They do play together at times, and even hang out together outside. Lady has had a recent ear infection from yeast, however since changing their diets to a no grain kibble, she has cleared nicely after treatment.
Don’t let their ages fool you, they are pretty energetic at times, and this breed does have a long life span. They would be better in a quiet home without young children around because of lady’s timidness. They love their meal times and Lady will spin in circles for her food.
Soca is a charcoal male poodle, 12 years old and weighs 17 lbs. He is up to date with vaccines and neutered. Soca did have a dental last year and has a very few teeth left, both dogs are microchipped. Soca is very bonded with his sister Lady. Soca is the most forward of the pair, he seems to adapt quicker than his sister to new people and things. He would be the first to approach someone new for a pat, he is also the protector of Lady, however they do get along quite well with the foster mom’s dog and are fine with cats. Neither has shown any aggression issues at all. They both love their crate, even when it’s not bed time and they love to snuggle up while watching TV or reading. They are easy to handle for bathing, nail trims and ear cleaning, very obedient pair.
They are quite funny to get to know. Please consider this wonderful pair of loving creatures regardless of their ages, their owner had to go into a long term home, so that is why they have been given to rescue.
