Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Maggie has been waiting under the tree hoping her Christmas wish will come true. She's not looking for presents or treats. No, what she wants is a HOME for Christmas! Maggie is ready to have her very own forever family after being with a wonderful foster family for over a month. If you’re looking for your new family member, here she is! Maggie is housebroken, has excellent house manners, knows some commands, and is ready to give you lots of love.
Maggie looks like a mix between a lab and a beagle. She’s around 2 years old, and at just 40 pounds she’s not too big to snuggle with or to take for rides in the car. She walks well on a leash too and likes to meet new people and dog friends.
Maggie has a sweet, calm personality. She’s a “lady”, so she doesn’t jump on people or furniture. She only barks when there’s a reason to. When she wants to come inside she politely sits by the door until you let her in. She’s content to hang out with you in the house and rest for periods of time but also likes to play - with her toys, people and other dogs. She is good with children too. Maggie quietly sleeps through the night curled up in her dog bed in the bedroom. All in all a great companion!
Maggie is spayed, up to date on shots, heartworm negative, microchipped, and on monthly Flea-Tick-Heartworm prevention. Her adoption fee is $120. Call Lynne at 817-964-0333 if you are interested in adopting Maggie.
