Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Calloway and Milo. Calloway is the tabby and Milo is the long haired orange kitty. A bonded pair of sweet kitties who need to be adopted together. They are siblings and were born 5-5-18. They are both extremely friendly kitties who enjoy being petted and loved on. They are very handsome boys. Calloway has beautiful markings on his short coat and Milo and a beautiful long orange coat. They areboth playful and and love their toys, basking in the sun and the laser pointer. They are very affectionate, love to be held, and will purrr and kneed the blankets while snuggling next you. They both have a very gentle nature about then. They both get along with other cats and dogs. We feel they would do well with children who know how to be nice to kitties give how gentle and sweet they are. They have always used his kitty box appropriately. Calloway and Milo came to us on 6-9-18 as tiny kittens and have been waiting a long time for a home.
We have them marked as special needs because they have an ongoing URI. It comes and goes After his first vaccination, they came down with a URI that we have battled with on and off. We have tried 3 different antibiotics several times, drops, eye ointments and it never seems to go away completely for more than a few weeks. We tried Immune support which seems to have really helped. Calloway's eye runs and Milo has eye booger build up. No sneezing or running nose. They are now in a more quiet foster home with no other pets and they seem to be thriving. So it's possible a quieter home might do the trick with no stress. As they get older, it could resolve, but we can't say for sure. We hope there is someone who has room in their heart and home to give these very sweet, bonded kitties a loving home they deserves, which they has waited so long for.
Calloway and Milo came to Angels on wheels from a high intake shelter in Kentucky where they were on the Euth list with his siblings. They are so very loving and appreciative they were rescued and given a chance at life that in return they love unconditionally. They are being fostered in a home in Naperville. Naperville is where you and your family would go to meet this kitty after an adoption application has been submitted.
An adoption application must be submitted prior to making an appointment for a meet and greet. Adoption applications can be found on our website at angelsonwheels.org, then clicking on the applications tab.
Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but is required prior to making arrangements for a meet and greet as all of our animals are cared for in homes. We can't schedule meet and greets until the application is submitted and approved. We don't have a building so there are no viewing hours. All of our animals are cared for in foster homes by wonderful families who volunteer their time to save these precious souls. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
The adoption fee of $200.00 for both now fully vetted kitties include:
