Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi there, I'm Tex and I am 60 lbs of slobbery kisses and wiggling butt. I'm only 2 years young and I'm a strong boy but I love people and other mutts so I am working at being less excited. It's hard not to be excited when I was pulled from near death - everyday now is a gift and is to enjoyed. My foster mom loves me and has taken care of me while I went through heart worm treatment - she sure is going to be sad to see me go. I am really hoping to find someone who is active as I need my exercise, and because of how strong I am, I think older kids would be more my style.... I don't want to knock the little ones down. I am not sure how I feel about cats as I haven't met any yet but in every other regard I have been a complete angel. Call soon!!
*All of The Right to Live dogs are fostered locally in San Antonio Texas and will be transported to other states to their new families upon adoption. We believe fostering dogs and not having them decompress in a kennelled environment is more beneficial for the dogs and builds their trust and companionship in a family situation. Adoption fee includes transportation costs, previous/current medical treatment (spay/neuter, etc.) and a health certificate for cross-state travel*
