My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Are you seeking a medium size canine companion that is great on his leash? Meet Milo, who was recently relinquished to the Coronado Animal Care Facility when his family could no longer care for him. He is now ready for his forever home. Milo is a three-year-old male Terrier Mix who weighs 30 pounds.

Although initially apprehensive when meeting newcomers at the shelter, this sweet boy will quickly warm up to you. Soon enough Milo will affectionately shower you with kisses. He walks nicely on his leash, trotting right along while ignoring bicycles and skateboarders. Milo could be a good hiking buddy! He is house trained and knows the sit command. Milo is best suited for households with children that are elementary school age or older. Come meet this sweetheart today, Milo will make a great companion for a loving family!

Milo’s Stats:

The Coronado Animal Care Facility (ACF) is open 9:00-11:30am and 12:30-4:00pm daily, except major holidays. It is located at 1395 First Street, at the south end of the Ferry Landing complex.

If you are interested in an adoption, first please come meet the dog at the Coronado ACF. Then submit a dog adoption application and meet with a PAWS of Coronado dog adoption counselor. You may complete an application at the Coronado ACF or the online dog adoption application. If you have questions, please email dogadoptions@pawsofcoronado.org.
