My story

This purebred Maltese is almost too pretty to be a boy!!! Beamer was badly matted underneath the long hair, so sadly we had to shave him down as you can see in 2 of his pictures, but his coat should grow back in soft and lovely.

He is only 4 years old and weighs a big 5.8 pounds! He has some serious health issues and will require a home with a heart strong enough to accept a limited time with him. His heart is very enlarged, and he has a #4 murmur and is on Vetmedin and Lasix. This sweetie cannot not be neutered because of his fragile health. He is as sweet as he looks...just a darling little fellow.

Our vet will be working with Beamer to see what we can do to hopefully extend his life expectancy, even though it doesn't look promising right now. But he still needs love and care, and we will give him all that and more unless there is someone out there who wants to love Beamer for the time he has left.

Beamer is shining bright in Largo, FL for now.
