Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Scout is a 1 year old 45lb Border Collie. He was found in an orchard with another dog a few months back. He is very sweet and submissive. We don’t know his story before we got him, but he ducks his head down and sometimes rolls over when you first start to pet him. Scout spent a month with Teresa at Intermountain Mannered Mutts. He walks nicely on a leash, is crate trained, and working on house training. While you’re relaxing on the couch, Scout likes to relax by your feet. Scout does fine with other dogs and ignores cats and chickens. Due to Scout’s past situation we recommend no children so that he won’t accidentally get let out.
Scout has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, tested negative for heartworm, is on heartworm preventative, flea preventative and has been dewormed.
Please no apartments, condos, or mobile home parks. A home check is required. Yolo County adopters preferred, but will consider other locations. If you are more than 100 miles away from Yolo County please be aware that there may be a small additional expense associated with travel cost.
If you are interested in meeting Scout, email us and we will send you an adoption application. (include your location in the email) The adoption fee for Scout is $450.
*Vetting includes: Neuter/spay, microchip, age appropriate vaccinations, deworming, heartworm test, flea preventative, heart worm preventative (including the remainder of their 6-month supply), and any other necessary vet care.
