Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My friends call me Petunia. I’m told I share my name with a pretty flower and so the name suits me. I don’t know about all that, but I do know I would love to find a family that thinks I’m as special as my BARC peeps thinks I am.
Let me just tell you a few things about myself so that maybe you will want to be my forever and ever family.
• I LOVE attention. I really can’t stress this enough. If you show me affection, I will gladly return the favor. I want your undivided attention and will do best with a family who can give me just that. I like all humans no matter the gender or age. I really like to lay on the couch with the humans and get belly rubs. I LOVE love.
• I like to go on walks so I can’t wait until the crate rest from my heartworm eradication is over so I can run and play.
• As far as other dogs are concerned, if they are friendly to me, I love to interact with them. If they are very alert and talkative, I tend to stay away because they scare me.
• The barn cats are okay, but I just bypass them because they don’t seem interested in being my friend.
• The vet says I’m one of their best patients. I’m very sweet and compliant. As far as things like baths go, I’ll act like I don’t really want one, but I’ll sit there quietly while you scrub me down.
• I am good in a crate and I love my kong with peanut butter.
I am really not hard to please and I can’t wait to find my forever home.

When you realize you really don’t want to live another day without me in your life, you can read over BARC’s Adoption Policy and find out how to make me all yours!
