Meet Tazzy! This little pup is so fantazztic, we would never dream of calling her, say, a Tazzmanian Devil, because she’s pure perfection. Tazzy’s fosters describe her as sweet, calm, gentle and loving. She likes to spend her time running around (during her 4 walks a day), playing, and then curling up on a cozy lap for a satisfying afternoon nap. Speaking of sleeping, when it’s time for Tazzy to turn out the lights, all it takes it standing by her crate and saying “bed time!” and Tazzy heads on in to bed like the very best girl!
Tazzy walks well on leash. She’s cool, confident, and not reactive or a puller. She’s great in the car and also makes a great office dog - she actually accompanies her foster mom to work every day (little known fact: Tazzy can make an amazing Excel spreadsheet)!
Tazzy does display some resource guarding around other dogs but not with humans, whom she allows to take things out of her mouth with no issues. If Tazzy is going to have fur siblings, which we think she would love, she will need some guidance to learn to share. She does adore playing with other dogs - it's just that Tazzy thinks sharing is for the birds.
Besides this minor issue, Tazzy is a real unicorn dog - calm, loving, and perfect in every single way. Plus - have you seen that smile?!
