Here's what the humans have to say about me:
**CURRENTLY ON MEDICAL HOLD**
Date of this post or update: 11/7/18
STORY: Rescued recently from a feral colony. Her sibling "Meezy" is also listed on our site. They are in medical foster care together currently. When she was brought in to us for spay/neuter (TNR), she stayed at the front of the cage chirping at us! This is actually a very affectionate hilarious young girl. She is stunted in growth and will never be very large (currently around 4-5 pounds). Part of our Feline Shelter Diversion Initiative and Suwannee Valley Cat Assistance Program
Estimated age: 8 months
Tested negative for FeLV and FIV
Recently examined by a veterinarian (actually being fostered by a veterinarian!)
Medical follow-up required: To be determined, she will undergo a second anesthesia soon to check for a nasopharyngeal polyp.
Behavior notes for best success: May be fearful at first of a new situation, will need isolation and a place (room) of her own to gain confidence and to get used to the new place. She hid for three days when brought to her current home....BUT THEN she came OUT OUT of her shell!!! She jumps into your hands to be petted, is a very active energetic little thing, talks a LOT (her sister is a Siamese but honestly she has to have some in there....look at her head shape and the talking.....!!!!) Very smart little kitten. Not for a beginner or child to adopt initially unless mentored. She does not have to be adopted with her sister but we think it would be really great if this could be possible! They are not bonded but they do like each other a lot!
Not currently available for adoption but as soon as she is medically cleared we will post it here. If you are interested in her please contact us, you may be able to take over fostering her to see if she would be a good fit for your home :)
