Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Maggie was brought into a nearby shelter that was full. They contacted us to take her. She is a bit overweight. We are think she is a pure breed Yorkie, but can't be sure. Her owner who surrendered her claimed she was. She is about 7 years old. She is spayed, Mirco-chipped and has had a dental. Her owner was an elderly lady who just didn't have the resources to care for Maggie or the other dogs that were brought in with her. Like most Yorkies, she appears to have some skins issues so will need to keep an eye on her skin, bath and regular grooming. We are tying to get some of the weight off of Maggie. She is a sweet girl. She walks well on a leash, does well in the car. likes to be on the sofa with you, will sleep in the bed with you, if you allow her. She really is a great dog. Pretty smart. This pet is being fostered in PICAYUNE, MS. An application can be found on our website. (animaladoptionsociety.net)
