My story

Sweet Adeline was starved and almost dead from fleas and ticks when she was rescued. After a month of antibiotics, good food and a blood transfusion this girl is as good as new!!! She is house trained, loves to snuggle on the couch and play with her foster siblings and rescue humans. As all the roadside dogs, history is unknown but she seems to be pretty good on a leash and does ok in a crate. She doesn't like to stay in one for long periods. She has been left in the house during the work day with no issues of chewing or being naughty. She is still young and so eager to learn and be a part of a family. She has done well with all sizes of dogs and has liked 99% of them. I suggest larger playmates verses little dogs. She is possessive over her food so she needs to be separated at meal times which is easy. NO CATS and no apartments. Please apply at www.krrtx.org/forms.

Please note all dogs are located in San Antonio, TX. We advertise out of state due to the critical pet overpopulation problem here in the south. We use Your Texas Rescue Connection to transport the dogs to your area. They are all up to date and come with a health certificate. The fee is $170 adoption and $160 transportation = $330.
