My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Houdini came by his name justifiably! this boy can climb and escape just about anything. BUT, he's only escaping to be with his human family! He wants to be inside lounging on the couch with you watching Lifetime movies or a good football game. In other words he doesn't really care as long as belly rubs are included. Houdini came from a hoarding situation where he was tied outside among a pile of junk with a table as his shelter and exposed to bugs and hunger. He is still tinted yellow from having motor oil rubbed on him to kill the mange! He is doing absolutely wonderful now! He plays with all the other dogs, comes in the house, crates well and is doing much better with house training. He is fixed, up-to-date on shots and ready for his new home. I think another doggy playmate would be best to keep him company and keep him from trying to escape. Please give this young man a chance. He deserves so much better out of life than what's been handed to him so far. apply at www.krrtx.org/forms

Please note all dogs are located in San Antonio, TX. We advertise out of state due to the critical pet overpopulation problem here in the south. We use Rescue Road Trips to transport the dogs to your area. They are all up to date and come with a health certificate. The fee is $170 adoption and $185 transportation = $355. Thank you for considering adopting a southern dog.

Please also note that we are not able to adopt to MA due to their quarantine requirements for out of state dogs. We apologize for this.
