Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Up for adoption in Texas and New England: Celeste.
She is about 4 years old and weighs about 50lbs.
Celeste is great with other dogs, in fact she's so great, we think she should have another dog in her future home. So if you've got one dog, how about one more? :). She loves wrestling with other dogs and playing.
We saved her when she was pregnant, she had her puppies, they were adopted and now she's spayed and ready for a home of her own.
She has really blossomed and has a happy disposition.
Celeste has the energy you want in a buddy for a walk around the trails, or a playmate for a young pup, as well as the calm demeanor to snuggle with you or your senior dog on a slow or rainy day.
Celeste is gentle with kids of all ages. she's been living with a very rowdy 4 year old boy and 8 year old girl--both of whom can't seem to shake her stride. She just watches the chaos from a comfortable curl on the couch or her dog bed. never rattled or disturbed.
Celeste does great with kids and other dogs of dominant or submissive personalities, but she's also fit to be a solo dog for someone who has time to love on her a bit. She's been anywhere from nonchalant to excited by the presence of cats, with no major concerns. (Though every cat is different, so we can't totally predict if a dog will be a match.)
Celeste weighs about 50 lbs, and is currently working on reducing her weight. her foster got a little carried away and was giving her extra servings for a couple months!
Celeste is spayed, as we mentioned, vaccinated, on monthly preventatives, and microchipped.
She is housebroken and crate trained, but her foster leaves her out of the crate without any problems. She does not have any behavioral concerns and has shown no signs of aggression. She barks on rare occasions, and is easy to walk on leash.
She's a catch for sure. Reel her in by applying at www.luckylabrescue.com
