Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Gosling is our 12- 14 week old collie mix puppy. He weighs 15 lbs. now.
Gosling gets along fabulously with the other dogs here at the rescue. If you are looking for a new family member that is FUN then Gosling is your boy. He loves to snuggle and just be with you. He will let you hold him for hours and rests his head on your shoulder.
Oh, and simply one beautiful pup! His coat is gorgeous. You won't find many like him walking around. The foster family is working on his potty training. He is 100% trained to puppy pads. No accidents.
If you are interested in giving Gosling a wonderful home, go to our Facebook page and download the application from the notes section. While you are there, please Like our page to see our new available dogs and keep up with upcoming events.

The application can also be downloaded from our website www.merceranimalrescue.org
You can also email us at merceranimalrescue@gmail.com and we will email an application to you.
Gosling's adoption donation is $525 which helps to cover his neutering, series of three puppy shots, bordetella (kennel cough), rabies, heart worm prevention, flea/tick prevention, vet examination, and the cost of transporting her to the Chicago area.
ALL OUR DOGS START THEIR JOURNEY IN TENNESSEE
Gosling is fostered in Tennessee and will travel to her new family once she has been adopted. We use a weekly transport to the northeast. Pick up is available in VA, MD, PA, NJ, NY, CT, VT. We use PETS, LLC. www.petsllc.net
We have monthly trips bringing the adopted dogs to the Chicago area. The next time the dogs can be picked up in Chicago is Sunday, November 11, 2018.
Our primary source of funding comes from this adoption donation. This donation allows us to rescue other dogs in danger of being put to sleep, injured or sick dogs and dogs that have never known the comfort of a home.
