Trisha is a sweet dog! She is good with people, gentle with young children, good with dogs and cats. Trisha is full of love! She is doing very well and ready for her own forever home. Poor Trisha had been through a rough start in life. However, she still trusts and loves people with her whole heart. Trisha started some leash training and is learning at a good pace. She is crate-trained and doing well on her housetraining. Trisha rides well in the car and can wait patiently while her foster mom runs errands. She is a lovely girl and will make a wonderful family dog.

Trisha’s Rescue Story

Poor Trisha was living as a stray dog near a school campus. She would always go up to the students and beg for food and would often follow them to classes. This terrified the school and the school had to kick her out. Trisha stayed close to the campus and laid outside on the grass and played with other dogs. A kind lady posted her story on Facebook hoping to find her a home. No one had called for her. Luckily, an experienced rescue organization heard about her story and knew it was urgent to save her. They quickly took her in. The founder of the rescue has a home full of over a hundred dogs waiting for homes. She didn’t have the heart to let Trisha live on the streets to defend for herself.

Trisha was rushed to the vet for a complete health checkup. Luckily, she is a healthy girl and ready for a home. She loves to go to the dog parks where she can run with all her buddies. Trisha started leash training and is socialized with big and small dogs.

Trisha has been spayed, vaccinated, microchip, and passed negative on her blood tests. Trisha is patiently waiting for a family to love her.
