My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This adorable dog with the cutest big ears was found tied up to a ramp and with a pretty ugly head injury.. he is just the sweetest boy he is approx 3 yrs and 25 lbs and looks like he could have some corgi / cairn terrier in him.

Daven has a great personality, he is always happy and has a lot of energy.
He needs a home with a big backyard so he can run and play. He needs a family that will take him on walks and or a buddy that plays with him. Loves attention and will follow you around everywhere, does not like being alone. Favorite things: eating, toys, and chew bones. He also needs another doggy buddy to hang around with.

He is potty trained, has never had an accident. Needs more leash training as he tends to pull when he gets excited but enjoys walks.

He loves his toys. He was very matted when we first rescued him and our groomer cleaned him up. He is a very handsome boy.

He did test positive for heartworms and was treated with the required series of injections and has been started on a monthly heartworm preventative, we usually find that the dogs test positive 4-6 months after the end of their treatment,

OUR RESCUE POLICY: We require a home with children older than 10 years old and experienced dog owners only.

The total amount is payable to Shaggy Dog Rescue which is a 501c3. Some of our dogs are still in Texas in foster care.
