Sweetpea is an adorable dog who literally walked into our lives (or yard) on multiple occasions that we couldn’t turn away. We took her to a no kill shelter in hopes that her owner would find her there but they did not. After she was there for a period of time without anyone picking her up, we felt really bad and got her back. She is a very very loving and energetic dog. We would love to keep her, but our house is very small and we don’t feel like the amount of space we have is fair to a dog of her size and energy level. She is very quiet and does not bark much at all, however she does not have much experience with other pets outside of our cat whom she loves to “play” with, but can be a bit much for. We’re sure she would do great with other pets with a little patience and formal socialization. She sleeps in our laundry room and is free to go in and outside of her crate where her bed is located. She does well on car rides, enjoys long walks and being free to run in open spaces.
