Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Diesel! This boy is yet another sweet fur-baby rescued from a horrible situation in Orrum during Hurricane Florence and made available at RCHS. He was one of the many distressed pups and kitty's observed by myself and the Sheriff's dept surrounded by flood waters and living in filth. Severely malnourished and starved for affection, he was grateful to see us! He appears to be a Boxer mix estimated at about 5+ years old, weighs approx 59 pounds which is up from his 54 when rescued, Diesel had a mass removed from his right hind cheek which was sent out for a biopsy and tested negative for cancer, is now up to date on all his vaccines and neutered. Unfortunately he did test positive for heart-worm, but is currently on Heart Guard but will need to be retested every 6 months to monitor his progress. He would make any family a wonderful loving and faithful companion.. His adoption fee is $200. His ID is DM1809010. An application is available by clicking on the following link http://www.robesonhumanesociety.org/…/Adoption_Application_… You can email it back to us at rchsfriendsforlife@gmail.com, or fax it to 910-738-8685. All animals at RCHS are up to date on vaccinations, tested for Felv/Fiv, heart worm and treated if positive, de-wormed and spayed or neutered if over the age of 6 months. If they are younger than 6 months, the adopter receives a voucher that is good at any vet and covers a portion of the procedure. For more info on how to adopt, please email us at rchsfriendsforlife@gmail.com or call the shelter at 910-738-8282. Robeson county Humane Society is a non-profit no-kill State recognized 501c3 that operates primarily from donations, fundraisers and volunteers, with minimal Government support.
