Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Let's celebrate Independence Day early! Because Fripp is all about the Red, White and Blue!
Introducing the handsome Fripp, a 3-year old red and white Siberian Husky with stunning blue eyes. This gorgeous boy is a super-friendly cuddle bug who is mostly laid back and wants to be near his people while they shower him with love - and belly rubs!
Fripp is all about walks and is getting much better with his leash manners. At 53 pounds he will need a strong and confident hand while walking until he learns not to pull - maybe he's got some lead sled dog in him! - but continued training should improve his leash skills. He isn't super high energy when he has off-leash time in the yard and will occasionally chase a tennis ball - as long as someone else doesn't run after it first. He's got 'sit' down pat, although he's kinda stubborn about it unless you're offering treats as a reward (after all, he is a husky!).
This adorable boy does well in his kennel at night, but when the morning rolls around he wastes no time letting you know it's time to get up and at 'em! Like we said, Fripp loves his walks!
He's slightly protective of his food and he is working through it. He's showing quick improvement now that he understands there is plenty to go around. More training will likely be needed to ensure he overcomes it.
Fripp takes baths well and does good with brushing. He enjoys playing with his foster fur brother, although is more laid back and all about belly rubs. This pup does great with kids, cats TBD.
So look into those baby blues and help Fripp celebrate his own Independence Day!
His adoption fee covers his vaccines, current heartworm prevention, neuter, microchip and 30 days of free pet insurance.
