My story

ADOPTION FEE IS $150
Atlas is about 2-3 years old . He is full of puppy energy and is always happy ! He was taken to our local Shelter as a stray and never claimed . He weighs about 12 pounds , his fur is a light blonde and acourse feeling.
Atlas is special needs due to an injury . When he arrived at the shelter he could not use his back legs. After an X-ray and exam it was determined he had received blunt force trauma to his back . His spine is broken and non repairable. But that does not stop Atlas !!! He gets to wherever he wants to go and quickly! He has a wheelcart that he really needs to learn to drive slowly in ! He does require some help emptying his bladder which is not hard at all and he understands what is happening and he cooperates while Helping you help him . Just a squeeze and ALL DONE !
He loves other dogs and tends to play in the rough side , so a small fragile dog in a home may not be best . Atlas loves walks outside in his cart, toys. And never meets a stranger .
Atlas is neutered , Heartworm free and in monthly preventative , has all his vaccines and is micro chipped . Can you look past his disability and see the love he has to give ? If so you can submit an application at www.seniorpawssanctuary.com
We do not adopt or transport our reacued dogs out of the state of Florida . Atlas is in the Fort Myers , Florida area.
