Meet Bellany 5658
1-year-old Bellany is always looking up at you with happy, kind eyes although she enjoys occasionally throwing in an impish grin. This quiet girl intuitively knows just when to perform a respectful sit, that, at times, serves as the interlude between her amazingly playful adventures. When she interrupts her playtime, she will sit motionless in front of you and lets you sense the veneration that she is feeling.
The photographer has witnessed thousands of HS dog-play interactions but the non-stop action, theatrics and athleticism of Bellany and her best friend,Tanner, are ranked #1 overall in most categories including the high skill levels, timing, effort, play-posturing and duration of the competition. It is as though they know what the other is thinking and both follow the choreographed engagement to the letter. The duel is reminiscent of a world war 1 "dogfight" with the British Sopwith Camel (of Snoopy fame) vs the German Fokker. Come on down to the Humane Society and meet these real-life action heroes. As all good friends do, Bellany and Tanner relax together after the joust, expressing mutual respect and complete trust. If they could, they would probably head to the local pup pub for a round of cheer.
