My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Romeo is a 9 month old black male puppy with natural ears and a docked tail. Romeo is an amazing boy as well as being kind to the eyes with his shiny black coat, gorgeous markings, and soulful black eyes. He is everything a Doberman should be: extraordinarily sweet and cuddly. He will snuggle for days and cannot get close enough to his humans. During car rides, he plants his head on the driver's shoulder and there he stays. He is also HUGE for his age and per his foster dad, "is maturing into one of the most beautiful male Dobermans I have ever seen." This is a big statement considering Romeo's foster dad has fostered scores of Dobermans and owns his own dog daycare business. Romeo goes to work with his dad, but his work ethic hasn't really evolved much, so far his only fulfilled job responsibility has been: Playmate to All. He gets along great with all dogs but doesn't have a full understanding of his size and is very much a bull in a china shop. He might be too much for small dogs, small children or the elderly due to his size, energy level and his complete lack of body awareness. He has a deep bark and impeccable house manners. Romeo must be crated, as it is "safe spot" and he very much enjoys the security of his crate for sleeping and meal times. He does not get up on the sofa or bed, no matter how much his foster dad has urged him. We think Romeo could seamlessly enter most households.
