Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Are you looking for a fun, energetic puppy that can mature into a wonderful family companion? Meet Luna, who was relinquished to the Coronado Animal Care Facility when her owner could no longer care for her. She is now ready for her forever home. Luna is a four-month-old female Chesapeake Bay Retriever “Chessie” Mix puppy who weighs 20 pounds.
Chessies are known as loyal, upbeat, affectionate and tireless canine companions. Luna is an affectionate young puppy who wants to spend time with her human pals. She also loves to play fetch with her toys. Luna is learning to walk nicely on her leash and with training she could become a good hiking or running partner. She is best suited for households with children that are elementary school age or older. As with any young energetic puppy, Luna will need a family who will dedicate time to her obedience training and give her daily exercise (1-2 hours). Training should come easily as Luna is intelligent and eager to please. Come meet this sweetheart today, Luna will make a great canine companion for a loving family!
Luna’s Stats:
Chesapeake Bay Retriever Mix, female puppy
DOB: 6/15/18, 20 pounds
Shots up to date, spayed, micro chipped
Adoption fee $175
The Coronado Animal Care Facility (ACF) is open 9:00-11:30am and 12:30–4:00pm daily, except major holidays. It is located at 1395 First Street, at the south end of the Ferry Landing complex.
If you are interested in an adoption, first please come meet the dog at the Coronado ACF. Then submit a dog adoption application and meet with a PAWS of Coronado dog adoption counselor. You may complete an application at the Coronado ACF or the online dog adoption application. If you have questions, please email dogadoptions@pawsofcoronado.org.
