Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Please read this bio. Information about meeting this pet is provided. If you are seeing this post, this kitten is available for adoption so you do not need to email us asking if still available.
Meet Sambuca, born 8-23-18 and boy what a handsome and friendly boy. He doesn't like the flash on the camera so it's hard to get bright eyed photos of him.
He is a gem with a fantastic personality. He's very sweet, playful and friendly. Because Sambuca and his and her litter mates are so young, we don't have them running around the foster home free yet. They have a bedroom of their own with a Human bed, kitty condo, cat trees, lots of toys and even their own TV. When people come into the room, she comes running to greet you. Given his young age, he has not been introduced to the resident dogs or cats yet. However given his young age, we feel he will do just fine with proper introductions to a cat friendly dog or cat.
Small kittens this age shouldn't have free run of a large home. They are babies. They will need a room of their own, preferably with a person to keep her socialized since she will be alone if not adopted with a sibling and it's not something she's use to. Cats do not like being kept in dog cages.
Hard to believe Sambuca and her siblings were found as strays given how friendly and affectionate they all are. We pulled them from Chicago Animal Care and Control on 9-20-18 when they were only 3 weeks old, and they were bottle fed babies. She is being fostered in a home in Naperville with her siblings Mai Tai, Vodka, Tonic, and Spritzer. All who are very sweet. Naperville is where you and your family would go to meet this kitty after an adoption application has been submitted.
An adoption application must be submitted prior to making an appointment for a meet and greet. Adoption applications can be found on our website at angelsonwheels.org, then clicking on the applications tab.
Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but is required prior to making arrangements for a meet and greet as all of our animals are cared for in homes. We can't schedule meet and greets until the application is submitted and approved. We don't have a building so there are no viewing hours. All of our animals are cared for in foster homes by wonderful families who volunteer their time to save these precious souls. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
