Roxy was abandoned several months ago in TN and a sweet family took her in not knowing she was pregnant. Her rescuer in TN said “it was really hard to put her in the crate for transport. Roxy is one of those dogs that you never forget because she is so sweet, loving and a loyal dog. Her life has been HELL before we found her. She has scars on her head/legs that are a sign of a tough life, I always have a special place in my heart for those kind of dogs. I pray someone will open their heart and home up to this special girl when it is time. . Give her a big kiss and hug from her Tennessee Families....”
Roxy and her puppies are now being fostered in the Boston area. The puppies have homes waiting for them once they are old enough to venture off from their Mom. She is a great mom and really shy but comes out of her shell quickly and just wants her belly rubbed. Roxy hasn’t been tested with dogs, cats or kids yet as she has been very busy nursing her babies but her foster says she is an absolute sweetheart and loves all the attention she has been getting. We are looking for someone will see the really sweet girl Roxy is a give her that second chance at a wonderful life.
