My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This smart and lovable girl needs a home!

(Lily is the pup with the pink collar in photos. Her sister, Gemma, wears a purple one).

Lily is a beautiful female lab/shepherd mix and is approximately 4 months old. She is doing really well with her house training but is still a puppy so she’ll need patience and guidance with house training when adapting to her new home.

Lily is crate trained and currently sleeps in her crate at night which is important for her training and progress. She finds comfort in her crate and will often put herself to bed after a play session but has also been known to play inside her crate too! Continued crate training is essential for Lily and will also give her the option of her own space in her new home.

Lily is very smart and is always eager to please, especially if you have treats! She is very easy to train and has already learnt ‘come, ‘sit’ and ‘lay down’, but will need to continue this training. She is not loose-leash trained but it’s a work in progress! She’s currently getting used to her collar and leash.

Lily absolutely loves to be with people and is getting on really well with her foster family, including the children. She’d make the perfect addition to any household with the time and patience to train and integrate a new puppy into the family.

Could this little miss be the one for you?

Breed: Lab Shepherd Mix
Colour: Black
Age: 4 months old
Sex: Female
House Trained: Almost got it!
Crate Trained: Yes – I love my crate.
Loose-leash Trained: I’m slowly getting use to my collar and leash. As a puppy, it is important to continue to work on this. Continuing socialization and exploring various environments is important.
Commands: I already know ‘come, ‘sit’ and ‘lay down’ – I’m very smart and I’ll do anything for a treat!
Dogs: Yes – I’m playful and curious with other dogs
Cats: Yes but I’m very curious and I like to try and play with them, so dog savvy cats would be best. I do listen when I’m told to leave them alone though!
Children: Yes – I do need reminders not to jump up but I love to be with people and children.
