My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Update 3/18/10
So the 24th is commin up fast and thats our lastday, hardcore. Its makin me a little nervous cuz we got FIVE dogs inhous that need to be in YOUR house :) Lookin for fosters here folks. Food will be provided, crates if desired, just give us a call or drop us a line.

All dogs listed at the Happy Tails Farm are being forced out of their 'home' due to Crawford County Zoning Board. (we do not make our dogs live in concrete kennels with a septic tank, they like grass) There is a semi short story behind all this however that will be posted on our main page. The truly short version of this is that ALL the rescue dogs must be moved by December 22 and that we must shut down. Its taking this Home for the Holidays thing to a whole new level of tense....
Dogs that have already been taken into other Rescues who kindly decided to help us out will remain listed and their contact information will be provided.

Rockey has an unknown past. He showed up on our doorstep almost 3yrs ago with a gash on his nose. We searched for the owner of this handsome and intelligent fellow but no one ever surfaced So.. here he is, Still looking for his forever home.
Rock is an indoor house boy. He likes to watch TV, cuddle and flop around on the floor with his friend Dia. He is good with other dogs and ignors our cats. Rockey is good with all people of all ages and loooves attention. He does play and enjoy car rides!
Rockey IS however a fence climber! So outside time must be monitered. If he gets bored, he'll go find something to do. lol. (He would do best in a privacy fenced yard) Also Rock has a fear of storms. He's afraid of thunder and Must be inside when its rumbling outside as he'll just run scared.
But inside he feels much safer and even safer yet if he's under the blankets with you!
Rockey has become attached to one of our personal dogs here and while she started out as a rescue dog that just no one wanted. We would be willing to let her go WITH rockey should he find a home and the family adopting would be willing or wanting her too. She does not have to go with him, but just an offer. She doesnt have many friends in the yard and we think its kinda special that they have eachother. (Dia is also up to date on all shots, spayed, and good with adults and children alike)
