Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi There! My name is Sheila and I am a mamma of 8. I was found wondering alone back in June with no home, and no one came to claim me. I was placed in foster care with Paws and Think Detroit where they found out I was pregnant. I gave birth a month later to 4 pups and then was having complications. I was rushed to the emergency vet where they preformed a c-section on me to remove the other 4 puppies. I, thankfully had 8 healthy puppies, and I recovered nicely in foster care. My pups and myself are ready for adoption now! I had 6 boys and 2 girls, (born September 4th). I am a young pup myself between 1.5-2 years old about 60 lbs. I am a very calm girl and get along well with other pups and cats. I currently live with 2 foster siblings but I also am super independent. I enjoy my quiet time and like to snuggle. I am super gentle to the fact I don't destroy toys and just carry them around. I do love my toys a lot. My foster family has taught me the basic manners already and I am potty and crate trained. I LOVE being outside so a fenced in yard or very active household who enjoys walks is a must!
I know that moms are typically the last to be adopted, but I am hoping I am not overlooked for my furever home. If you would like to meet me please complete an application or join us at one of our adoption events. We post the events on the facebook page @pawsandthinkdetroit.
