Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
All dogs listed at the Happy Tails Farm are being forced out of their 'home' due to Crawford County Zoning Board. (we do not make our dogs live in concrete kennels with a septic tank, they like grass) There is a semi short story behind all this however that will be posted on our main page. The truly short version of this is that ALL the rescue dogs must be moved by December 22 and that we must shut down. Its taking this Home for the Holidays thing to a whole new level of tense....
Dogs that have already been taken into other Rescues who kindly decided to help us out will remain listed and their contact information will be provided.

Yall, meet Miss May.
Another momma dog dumped this past winter.. here at the end when it was real bitter. Her puppies have found homes and she is still working on being emotionally ready.
She has been spayed and is up to date on all shots. She likes soft warm beds and having a full belly.
Terriably skinny when we got her, she is slowly putting weight back on.
She has zero confidence and has known only fear for so long. She is working on trusting again. and Loving again.
We think its a lil traumatic here, life is a lil crazy when you are surrounded by 30 dogs but she has adjusted to them perfectly .haha. The other dogs are slowly teaching her how to act. They have taught her that life can be enjoyed.. now its up to us...and maybe even you.. to teach her that people can be good.
She was terrified about having something around her neck when she came here.. She would thrash and smash her head into things trying to get a collar off but with a little harness work and some crash corses in trust she now lets us put her on a leash and she is ok with it. (it doesnt sound like much, but it was a mountain to her)
BB is crate trained and barks to go outside. She would be very easy to finish housebreaking!!
We'er so proud of her and hope that her special someone will come along and help her grow even more!!
