My story

Meet Lola! She is a 3.5 year old Border Collie/McNab Heeler mix weighing 45 pounds. This incredibly sweet, gentle cuddle bug is a treat to anyone that knows herding breeds. Lola loves having an active life of running, hiking and playing in the water. She does great with other dogs at daycare and can learn to respect dog savvy cats with correct introductions. Lola is very intuitive and will feed off any instability in her people or fellow house mates. We are looking for someone that can provide her stability, consistency and a confident leadership so she doesn't have to try to lead. She would probably prefer to be your one and only but can be with secure balanced dogs, she will try to be the boss though. Children are too chaotic for her. She is good on the leash but can get reactive without guidance or redirection. We think if she is the only dog you are walking she will be fine we treats and positive reinforcement. After your adventure together Lola will require some cuddling on the couch while you gentle brush her beautiful coat. If you are ready to have your heart melt, fill out an application for Lola.
