Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Tanner is a 1 year old male dog. He had a rough life before being rescued by Tennessee Death Row Dogs in May 2018. The only part of his life before rescue that we know for certain was not good. He was more than likely used as a bait dog by the amount of injuries that he had suffered and that most of his teeth had been filed down or pulled. He is able to eat regular dog food and treats. His personality upon meeting him is timid and reserved until he gets to knows you. Once he's comfortable and knows he can trust you, he is a happy, goofy boy. He gets along great with other dogs and loves to play, regardless of his experience with other dogs prior to rescue. Tanner is like any other dog, he just wants someone to love him and show him that not all people are the same. He would do well with someone that wants a quiet, low key dog that just wants to be part of the family and to be loved. This family would be patient and give Tanner time to settle in and adjust to an everyday routine. He can be very loving and playful once he knows that he is safe and loved.
